Spotting vs Menstruation.
Spotting can vary from a tiny spot of red, pink or brown on the toilet paper, or underwear, lightly tinged
cervical fluid, or a very light menstruation which does not require more than a panty liner. If a pad or
tampon is needed this is classed as menstruation and should be documented in your data entry page.If you have watery or egg white cervical fluid and have noticed spotting, record the fertile cervical fluid in
the cervical fluid drop down menu on data entry page and note the spotting in your notes section.
